The Winter Early Bird Sale is valid for travel departure dates between Nov 1, 2019 and April 30, 2020 to select destinations in Mexico & the Caribbean, South and Central America. Air Canada Vacations’ comprehensive CareCombo travel protection plan includes free seat selection, year-round Price Drop Guarantee, StormGuard, a $50 waiver on administration change fees, and the ability to change, transfer or even cancel your booking with refund before the departure date (The method of refund may vary). Terms and Conditions:

CareFree must be purchased at time of booking. New package bookings only, for travel to Mexico and the Caribbean. Cannot be combined with any other offers or promotions. Not applicable to group bookings. Certain restrictions apply. Based on the cancellation date, a portion of the refund or the full refund may be payable in in-house credits.

CareFlex is applicable only to vacations packages to: Cuba (excluding Havana), Dominican Republic, Mexico (excluding Mexico City), Montego Bay, Saint-Lucia, Antigua, Curacao, Grenada, Great Exuma, Saint Kitts, Cartagena, Liberia. Must be purchased at the time of the booking. Applicable to new bookings only. CareFlex plans can be used year-round except during the blackout period from December 19 to January 5. CareFlex plans cannot be applied to group bookings, nor to packages at Marival Resorts, Sandals Resorts, Beaches Resorts and Grand Pineapple Beach Resorts. CareFlex plans are not applicable to bookings made with Aeroplan redemption miles. The CareFlex plan is non refundable.

CareFree and CareFlex travel protection plans must be purchased by all passengers sharing a room accommodation.

1Price Drop Guarantee: Get cash back if the price of your package drops after you book. The year-round Price Drop Guarantee must be requested by phone within a period of 5 days after noticing the price drop. Proof of price drop must be provided when submitting the request, otherwise redemption will not be valid. Not valid within 21 days of departure. Maximum $200 refund per person. Only applicable on the same package available on Must be the same departure date, departure city, room category, meal plan, length of stay, flight and class of service as the original booking to qualify. Space must be available at time of requesting refund. Applies once to a booking. Refund will be processed using the original form of payment existing on file. Processing may require 14 days or more. The year-round Price Drop Guarantee is redeemable on a decrease of the total package price, including taxes.

2StormGuard lets you reschedule your booking before a storm becomes a hurricane. Valid on Flight, Hotel & Transfer packages, hotel-only, or flight-only bookings to Mexico and the Caribbean. New bookings only. Applicable only if the US National Hurricane Center declares a tropical storm warning for your destination within 72 hours of your departure. Travel must be completed within the 6 months following the redemption date, and the package value must be the same.

3Changing and transferring your booking: Name changes can be made up until 7 days prior to departure. Changes to departure date, destination, room category or occupancy can be made up until 3 days before departure. Changes to travel dates are subject to hotel and flight availability. Certain types of changes will be considered cancellations and will follow the CareFlex Cancellation Policy. One set of changes per booking can be made without penalty. The set of changes can include more than one change and/or transfer, or a cancellation. Once the CareFlex plan is purchased, changes must be made through the CareFlex plan, without using other Air Canada Vacations change and cancellation methods. Clients will assume any difference in price increase resulting from change(s). No refund is issued if the new price is lower than the original fare. New package must be booked at the time of the date change request and travel must be completed within one year of the initial departure date. CareFlex can be repurchased only at the time the change is made. Changes must be made through your travel agent who will request the change through the Customer Care department.

4Cancellation Policy: Cancellations are permitted up until 3 days prior to departure. The refund method depends on the number of days before the initial departure date: 45 days or more prior to departure, $250 per person will be given in in-house credit and the remaining balance of the total price will be refunded in the original form of payment; 44 to 21 days prior to departure, 50% of the total price will be given in in-house credit and 50% will be refunded in original form of payment; 20 days to 3 days prior to departure, 100% of the total price will be given in in-house credit. In case of cancellation, a waiting period of 15 days before rebooking a new vacation applies. In-house credit must be used for travel within one year of the initial departure date, and is neither transferable nor refundable. The CareFlex plan can be repurchased at the same time the new eligible package is booked. Any leftover credit can be used towards an Air Canada Vacations' booking or product (excluding car rentals) until the expiration date. Products must be booked with the same travel agency. Cancellations must be made through your travel agent who will request the change through the Air Canada Vacations' Customer Care department.
