DAY 1:

  • Sandhotel By Kea Hotels
  • Sandhotel is a community within the centre of Reykjavík where all the convenience of modern technology and design meets Reykjavík's rich heritage. The roots of Sandhotel lie 100 years deep and combine three important themes: food, literature and fashion. Everything our hotel has to offer, be it the quality fabrics we use for our sheets, the floors and the bathroom equipment, every little detail is there for a reason: making our guests' experience unique and memorable. Every detail is important. It's a moment in time. We want our guests to cherish every moment they stay at Sandhotel. Because we know time is precious. 4 nights. Bed & Breakfast.
  • Perlan Museum: Wonders of Iceland
  • Perlan Museum is among the top attractions in Reykjavik, and is an interactive, family-friendly museum exhibiting a range of displays, largely focused on Icelandic glaciers, their history and future. Guests also have the opportunity to experience travelling through a real man-made Ice Cave, learn about the glacier's dangers, the secrets they keep, and how the disappearance of these glaciers is leading to an enormous change for both Iceland itself and around the world. 3 Hour tour.
  • The 360 Reykjavik Museum and access to Observation Deck is included in the admission fee. The observation deck has 16 information signs that tell you the names of the points of interest on the horizon, from Keilir Volcano on the Reykjanes peninsula in the south, to the world famous Snaefellsjokull glacier that lies on the end of Snaefellsnes peninsula in the north. A large part of the horizon belongs to Esja, the mountain of Reykjavik, in all its glory. Next to the information signs there are rock samples from geological points of interests, so you can touch lava from the lava fields south of Reykjavik and the soft volcanic rock from the mountains east of the city and the hard basalt columns found north of the Capital area. An excellent museum for families or guests with an interest in science, the Perlan Museum should not be missed.
  • Please note, this is a self-guided activity without a guide or transportation. Guests must make their own way to and from the museum.

DAY 2:

  • Pearl Tour - Golden Circle, Super Jeep and Snowmobile
  • Combine a Super Jeep Adventure with riding a snowmobile on Langjokull glacier, while visiting some of Iceland's most famous and exciting natural wonders.
  • Your first stop is at Thingvellir National Park, which is one of Iceland's most significant historical sites because it was there that Iceland's first parliament was founded in the year 930 AD. From Thingvellir you head along mountain tracks toward the world-renowned geothermal area around Geysir hot spring, the one spouting hot spring on Earth after which all other spouting hot springs are named.
  • From there continue on to Gullfoss ("the Golden waterfall") where your proximity to its edge is so close you can feel the spray of the glacial water on your face.
  • Next, kick the action into higher gear to get even closer to Iceland's nature and go for a snowmobiling tour on Langjokull, Iceland's second largest glacier. 10 Hour Tour.

DAY 3:

  • Snorkel Between Tectonic Plates
  • Participants swim in specially made dry suits through the crystal clear water of Silfra, volcanic fissure located in Thingvellir National Park. Although the water in Silfra can go down to 2 C / 35 F our dry suits combined with warm clothing worn underneath makes this adventure possible. You will breathe through snorkels as you float along the fissure where you have an unobstructed view of the landscape beneath the water level. The crystal clear water in the deep fissure gives you a feeling of being weightless as you float along with the lazy current. After an hour of snorkeling you will climb out and on to the riverbank to enjoy a warm cup of hot chocolate and some light refreshments. 3 Hour Tour.

DAY 4:

  • The Lava Falls Adventure Tour
  • This extreme tour is for adventure seekers and takes you all the way to the end of a volcanic tunnel where magnificent lava falls and other natural monuments await. Truly an unforgettable experience. Good physical condition is recommended for this tour as the group will spend as much as four hours in the tunnel hiking over rough terrain. However, the total tour take approximately five to six hours including hotel pick-up, drop-off and travel. Helmets, headlights, gloves and other specialized equipment will be provided. Hiking boots and warm clothes are recommended and a backpack for water and a snack (not included).
  • Please note that there is a minimum number of two passengers for the Extreme Lava Tunnel tour. Round-trip transfers from your hotel in Reykjavik are included. 5 Hour Tour.
  • Cheers to Reykjavik
  • During your Cheers to Reykjavik experience you will sample six different ales, all paired with traditional Icelandic cuisine, served Tapas-style. In addition to tasting the freshest fish available - caught from the pier just outside the restaurant - you'll also sample free-range Icelandic lamb, a local delicacy. Your host will introduce each beer and course combo while sharing stories about how the locals have managed to survive on this challenging island through the ages, though your host will happily discuss anything under the arctic sun.
  • An excellent option for guests seeking an introduction to Reykjavik's relatively unknown though surprisingly impressive food and beer scene, this two-hour experience is limited to guests aged 20-years or better. Cheers! 2 Hour Tour.

DAY 5:

  • Reykjavik to Reykjavik Keflavik Airport VIA Blue Lagoon Private Comfort
  • This non-guided airport transfer with a stop at the Blue Lagoon is ideal for departing passengers in order to maximize their time in Iceland. The lagoon's warm geothermal water and natural active ingredients; mineral salts, silica and blue green algae help you relax and unwind while the lagoon's distinctive white silica mud gently cleanses and exfoliates the skin. The mineral salts balance and relax body and soul.
  • The transfer from Reykjavik to the Blue Lagoon takes approx 40 minutes, while the drive from the Blue Lagoon to Keflavik International Airport takes approx 20 minutes. 4 Hour Tour.
