Pre-Flight Health Questionnaire for Mexico

Mexico has introduced a new health declaration form to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. All individuals travelling to Mexico are now required to complete the Pre-Flight Health Questionnaire before entering the country.

Governments around the world have implemented similar health certificates in response to the coronavirus pandemic. The contact details and travel information provided can be used to more effectively track overseas visitors and minimize infection rates.

After registering their details with the online Public Passenger Locator system, travelers are issued with a reference number and barcode which they will be required to present on arrival.

CUBA IS STILL FUN UNDER COVID!

Now that the country has adopted the “new normal” the authorities have eased some of the Covid restrictions and there is more freedom to travel around… but still there are government directions that all passengers entering Cuba must follow.

Given that the measures have changed over the time, there might be some mixed messages and travellers concerns that we want to put at ease and clarify.

FOR REGULAR TOURISTS STAYING AT ALL INCLUSIVE HOTELS AND RESORTS:

All international tourists are required to show proof of Covid-19 insurance or purchase it locally at the airport in Cuba for 30.00 USD ( it covers up to 21 days stay, clients planning to stay longer can buy consecutive packages to cover their stay).

All passengers must undergo temperature screening, take a FREE Covid-19 PCR test upon arrival and hand out a Health Declaration Form (given on board of the flight).

In this Health Declaration form, every passenger must declare the hotel name so the test results are sent to them within 24 hours. Visitors must quarantine at their hotel during this first 24 hours, they can use all the facilities of the hotel but they have to wear the mask and keep 6 feet distance until they get the test results.

Mask is mandatory indoors; it can be taken off outdoors, at the beach and swimming pools.

Tourists that test positive and they are asymptomatic will be sent to another hotel-hospital to quarantine there; tourists that test positive and they have symptoms will be directed to the nearest hospital.

There is an international clinic in all the resorts areas and a medical team at each single hotel (doctor, nurse and epidemiologist) monitoring the health of tourists and staff.

Dominican Republic

  • Entry Requirements: Most travellers (for example, from United States, Canada, Argentina, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Russia, Puerto Rico, etc.) do not need to present a negative COVID-19 test upon arrival to enter the Dominican Republic. Airports and other ports of entry will perform a quick, aleatory breath test to a percentage of passengers, and all those who present symptoms, upon arrival. Passengers under the age of five and crew members are exempt from this procedure. Passengers who present a vaccination card no less than 3 weeks after the last dose was placed or a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours prior to arrival in the Dominican Republic will be exempted from the random test. All passengers will also need to perform a temperature check. Passengers who present symptoms or whose test results are positive will be isolated and attended at authorized locations. Prior to departure, travellers should confirm with their airline provider and airport of origin regarding any testing or other related requirements for inbound flights to the Dominican Republic, or necessary requirements needed upon arrival to their country of origin.
  • E-TICKET: All foreign and Dominican passengers entering or leaving Dominican Republic on commercial flights must complete the free electronic entry and exit form, which combines the Traveller’s Health Affidavit, Customs Declaration and International Embarkation/Disembarkation forms. The form is available in English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Portuguese and Russian and can be accessed through the following link: https://eticket.migracion.gob.do.
